Before we understand big bang theory, first we will understand that whole the universe is made with only two thing that is Mass and Energy. Mass and Energy are related to each other and it is interconvertible physical quantity according to Einstein relativity equation.

The universe was born as a result of great explosion.This is called the Big Bang theory. Initially around 13.8 billion years ago, there was only energy everywhere. There was nothing more instead of energy.  Then sudden a particle came and due this particle our universe made. There was a sudden reaction occurred . As the result of this reaction a great explosion happened. This particle was "Higgs Boson".
Higgs Boson is also called God particle because due this particle our universe made.

This explosion caused high energy emission .After the 1.5 second of explosion some energy is changed to mass and spread  about  1000 times.  In 1.4 second quarks joined together to create neutrons. Further many elements like hydrogen, helium and other particles or physical elements  created . Thus our universe ,solar system ,stars ,planets ,moons, black holes etc comes into existence.
